Virtual Patient Participation Groups:
Using online discussion forum software, your Patient Participation Group (or Patient Reference Group - PRG) can 'meet online' to discuss various aspects of practice services including the design of the annual practice survey for DES.

Patient Email Consent Form:
The DoH recommend emailing patients and asking them to complete your online survey is one of the best ways to get a strong response.
Our secure online form captures the patient's consent, age group, ethnic group, email address etc. It mirrors the paper version of the form recommended by the DoH.
Data is stored ready for sending bulk emails to all patients [see below].
For your own analysis the data can also be downloaded and imported into products like Microsoft's Excel and Access.

Patient Surveys & Bulk Emails:
Products such as Survey-Monkey, Kwik-Surveys & Smart-Survey are recommended by the DoH for the development of patient surveys. We can help by:
- Linking the survey into your practice website.
- Providing tools to send out bulk emails to patients who have given consent [See above]
- If time is at a premium, we can set-up the survey on your behalf.
- Create news items on your website to publicise surveys to patients.
Reporting Patient Survey Results:
DES requires GP practices to publicise the results of patient surveys on their website.
We create an area on your website for patients to download these results. Documents can be added in any format, PDF, Excel, Word etc.
News items can also be created to highlight the results. Of course, using our online tools you have complete control over this area of your website.
